The Economist – Safe Cities

Towards the end of 2014, I had the pleasure of working with the Economist on a sponsored study of the top safest cities. I was actually flown over to the Hong Kong office to work with directly with one of the senior editors involved with the report.

Starting with little more than the drafts of the 10,000 word report, we managed to craft a narrative and develop a visual style for the animation and parts of the portal over the next 4 weeks.
